Moth Treatment

Why are Moths a Pest and How are they treated? Moths are a pest as their larval form feed on organic material such as wool clothing or carpets. This is more often a problem of older or histroic houses, which we have many of in West Berkshire and Wiltshire.

Treatment of Moths requires the homeowner or resident to first make sure that they have a good vacuum of the property before we arrive, then we will attend to carry out a residual spray of the carpets and any other affected areas such as wardrobes. This residual spray breaks the lifecycle of the moths over the course of approximately 2 weeks (and kills them), and you cannot vacuum your property during this process, hence vacuuming before our visit
